Food and Mood: The Community Connection
What does feeling alive, confident and connected mean to you?
Why keep trying to get there alone, when we could do it in community together?
The Community Difference
Humans thrive together! We have a universal need to belong.
Belonging to a community reduces feelings of loneliness and isolation, providing a sense of purpose and meaning. A sense of belonging fosters accountability – when you are part of a group, you are more likely to maintain healthy habits because others are supporting you and expecting your progress. Learning from others’ experiences helps you feel more human, develop self-compassion, and ultimately give yourself permission to prioritise your overall health and wellbeing.
DIFFERENCE
01
Connection and Support
Connect with like-minded individuals who understand the importance of the food-mood relationship and that how we feel matters.
Share experiences, dive deep, and find encouragement from a compassionate and empathetic community. Unlike going it alone, you’ll always have someone to lean on.
DIFFERENCE
02
Accountability and Motivation
Our community provides the structure and support needed to stay accountable to your goals. Regular check-ins, progress tracking, and mutual encouragement help you stay motivated and committed to your journey. When you’re part of a community, it’s easier to stay on track than when you’re managing everything on your own.
DIFFERENCE
03

It is based on the belief that underpins it all for the Bronwyn Hudson team:

In this community, your experiences and perspectives are valued, fostering mutual respect and understanding. Together, we create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated.

Welcome to Food and Mood: The Community Connection – dedicated to helping connect your dots between food and mood, lifestyle and wellbeing, together!
A community where we thrive together, led by Bronwyn Hudson’s genuine and heartfelt guidance.
Meet the founder: Bronwyn Hudson
Meet Bronwyn Hudson (MSc), the heart and soul behind Food and Mood: The Community Connection. She is passionate about connecting the dots between food and mood, exploring how what we eat and how we feel affect each other. Bronwyn is not your typical health guru—she’s a busy mom of four with a realistic and compassionate approach to health and well-being.
Bronwyn is also a big believer in the power of community. Having experienced times in her life when she felt isolated and alone, she knows firsthand how this can negatively impact mood, health, and overall well-being. Founding Food and Mood: The Community Connection is a move that excites her greatly, as it ensures none of the members need to go through life’s journey feeling alone.
The more she learns (and she is a self-confessed science geek, always learning), the more Bronwyn realises that the only subject she will ever be a true expert in is herself. She empowers others to become their own best experts, too.
If you’re looking for curated Instagram perfection, Bronwyn isn’t the girl for you. If you want guidance on sticking to strict diet rules, this isn’t the place for you. And if you value bikini-perfect bodies over flourishing mental well-being and resilience, you might want to look elsewhere.
Bronwyn wears her heart on her sleeve, laughs loudly and often (and cries easily too). Like many of us, she doesn’t have the ‘perfect’ body or stick to a perfect diet all the time. She’s not into unsustainable diets or conforming to societal expectations of appearance, especially when they negatively impact how she feels. She believes that how we feel is much more important than how we look.
