Food and Mood: The Community Connection

What does feeling alive, confident and connected mean to you?

Why keep trying to get there alone, when we could do it in community together?

The Community Difference

Humans thrive together! We have a universal need to belong.

Belonging to a community reduces feelings of loneliness and isolation, providing a sense of purpose and meaning. A sense of belonging fosters accountability – when you are part of a group, you are more likely to maintain healthy habits because others are supporting you and expecting your progress. Learning from others’ experiences helps you feel more human, develop self-compassion, and ultimately give yourself permission to prioritise your overall health and wellbeing.

DIFFERENCE
01

Connection and Support

Connect with like-minded individuals who understand the importance of the food-mood relationship and that how we feel matters.

Share experiences, dive deep, and find encouragement from a compassionate and empathetic community. Unlike going it alone, you’ll always have someone to lean on.

DIFFERENCE
02

Accountability and Motivation

Our community provides the structure and support needed to stay accountable to your goals. Regular check-ins, progress tracking, and mutual encouragement help you stay motivated and committed to your journey. When you’re part of a community, it’s easier to stay on track than when you’re managing everything on your own.

DIFFERENCE
03

Affordability and Accessibility

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from expert advise and a supportive community.

Our membership options are designed to provide affordable access to Bronwyn Hudson, a highly qualified and respected practitioner in nutrition and lifestyle medicine for mental wellbeing.

INTRODUCING

Food and Mood:

The Community Connection

Food and Mood: The Community Connection is a safe and empowering place, designed to support you in your connection to yourself, your relationship with food and the lifestyle habits that have you feeling your best.

It is based on the belief that underpins it all for the Bronwyn Hudson team:

“We are all worthy of everything we do, and everything we don’t do, in support of our wellbeing”

Bronwyn Hudson

Guided by founder Bronwyn Hudson (MSc Personalised Nutrition, Mental Health Coach), who intuitively weaves education and connection into the community in accessible ways, inspiring action – so you can expect to experience meaningful change, feeling more alive, confident and connected!

Belong to a community where:

  • feeling safe and empowered to align your actions and habits (the things you do) to your values and goals (the things that matter) is a given
  • evidence-based lifestyle medicine and behaviour change science was shared in accessible ways, helping you connect your dots between food and mood, lifestyle and wellbeing
  • reconnecting with yourself and your intuition is encouraged, so you truly can become the expert on you
  • you can learn, unlearn, relearn – without all the confusion and information overload – while becoming more accountable for taking meaningful action
Curiosity

Remaining curious about ourselves and each other—where we are and where we are going—is essential.

We explore evidence-based lifestyle medicine and behavior change science through various means, including group coaching sessions, educational snippets, resources, and a regularly updated recipe vault.

Belonging

This is a space filled with compassion, support, inclusion, and empathy. Regular opportunities to connect with other real and relatable members enhance your sense of connection and belonging. In this community, your experiences and perspectives are valued, fostering mutual respect and understanding. Together, we create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated.

Safety

Safe from judgment, free from diet culture, and able to be your real, messy, vulnerable self. We prioritise creating an environment where everyone feels secure and supported in their journey

With safety comes the opportunity for challenge, growth, accountability and authentic self-expression.

This community is so ready to welcome you if:

  • You are ready to become your own expert in what food and lifestyle habits support your mood, your energy and how you want to feel.
  • You are curious, open to experimenting, unlearning and relearning what works for you when it comes to nutrition and lifestyle habits.
  • You are excited at being part of a safe community, where you can truly connect, be vulnerable and grow (being a little nervous is normal too).
  • You know that moving forward means taking values-aligned actions (which we will inspire, encourage, challenge and support you with).
  • You are ready to ditch restriction, guilt, judgement and quick fixes.

This community may not be for you if:

  • You want an expert to simply give you a meal plan and tell you what to do, or are focused more on how you look than how you feel.
  • You have a fixed view on nutrition and lifestyle that you aren’t open to expanding.
  • You want highly personalised advice and don’t see the value in going on a journey with others, learning from and supporting each other (options to build in some 1:1 personalised support do exist).
  • You’re not ready to take action, or accountability for your actions.
  • You’d rather keep relying on willpower alone

You are in the right place!

Welcome to Food and Mood: The Community Connection – dedicated to helping connect your dots between food and mood, lifestyle and wellbeing, together!

A community where we thrive together, led by Bronwyn Hudson’s genuine and heartfelt guidance.

Meet the founder: Bronwyn Hudson

Meet Bronwyn Hudson (MSc), the heart and soul behind Food and Mood: The Community Connection. She is passionate about connecting the dots between food and mood, exploring how what we eat and how we feel affect each other. Bronwyn is not your typical health guru—she’s a busy mom of four with a realistic and compassionate approach to health and well-being.

Bronwyn is also a big believer in the power of community. Having experienced times in her life when she felt isolated and alone, she knows firsthand how this can negatively impact mood, health, and overall well-being. Founding Food and Mood: The Community Connection is a move that excites her greatly, as it ensures none of the members need to go through life’s journey feeling alone.

The more she learns (and she is a self-confessed science geek, always learning), the more Bronwyn realises that the only subject she will ever be a true expert in is herself. She empowers others to become their own best experts, too.

If you’re looking for curated Instagram perfection, Bronwyn isn’t the girl for you. If you want guidance on sticking to strict diet rules, this isn’t the place for you. And if you value bikini-perfect bodies over flourishing mental well-being and resilience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Bronwyn wears her heart on her sleeve, laughs loudly and often (and cries easily too). Like many of us, she doesn’t have the ‘perfect’ body or stick to a perfect diet all the time. She’s not into unsustainable diets or conforming to societal expectations of appearance, especially when they negatively impact how she feels. She believes that how we feel is much more important than how we look.
