Bronwyn’s Approach

With clinical training in Nutritional Therapy, Functional Medicine and Mental Health Coaching, I have made it my mission to help people connect their dots between food and mood.

For many people it begins as a journey of self-love and self-compassion. You need to believe you are worthy, in order to truly look after your wellbeing.

From there I expertly weave evidence-based, personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine advice with empowering coaching techniques such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

Yes – you can still enjoy cake, and fruit!

It’s not about complicated diet plans that you don’t have the energy to follow or restricting certain food groups unnecessarily. In fact, I don’t do food plans at all! Instead, it’s about supporting you to understand that the food – mood connection goes both ways. That the fuel you put in your body can have an impact on both your short-term mood and your long-term mental and physical health. And on the flip side, how you feel often dictates your food choices and without a positive relationship with food you can get caught up in cycles of anxiety, guilt and shame around eating. It’s about reconnecting you with intuition.

There are many dots to connect when it comes to food and mood, including sleep, social connection, movement, breathing, beliefs, the stories we tell ourselves, hormones, genes, and more. Bronwyn uses her background and training in Functional Medicine, Nutritional Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Mental Health Coaching to explore these and help you connect your own dots.

If you’re looking for curated Instagram perfection, Bronwyn isn’t the girl for you. If you want guidance on sticking to strict diet rules, this isn’t the place for you. And if you value bikini-perfect bodies over flourishing mental well-being and resilience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Bronwyn wears her heart on her sleeve, laughs loudly and often (and cries easily too). Like many of us, she doesn’t have the ‘perfect’ body or stick to a perfect diet all the time. She’s not into unsustainable diets or conforming to societal expectations of appearance, especially when they negatively impact how she feels. She believes that how we feel is much more important than how we look.
